01About these terms

"Jet Ski Dubai", "we", "us" and "our" means [Registered Company Name], licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under trade licence number [Trade Licence No.], registered address [Registered Address], Dubai, UAE. "You" means the person making the booking and every rider or passenger included in it. The lead booker is responsible for making sure everyone in the booking knows and follows these Terms.

These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, the rider declaration and waiver you sign on the day, and any specific conditions stated for a particular tour or offer. If there is a conflict, the signed rider declaration and waiver takes priority on matters of safety and risk.

02Bookings

• A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us (by email, SMS or WhatsApp) and any required payment has been received.
• You must provide accurate information when booking, including the names, ages and number of riders. We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect details.
• Please arrive at the meeting point at least 20 minutes before your start time for check-in, paperwork and the safety briefing.
• If you arrive late, your ride may be shortened so that it ends at the scheduled time and the next group is not delayed, with no refund for lost time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late without contacting us, we may treat it as a no-show.
• Tour durations are approximate and include time for the safety briefing, kitting up and photo stops. Routes may be changed by your guide for safety, traffic, weather or authority restrictions.
• If you book through a third party (such as a travel agent, hotel or online platform), their booking and payment terms may also apply. Refunds for those bookings are processed through the party you paid.

03Prices & payment

• All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise. Prices are per jet ski unless stated otherwise.
• We may change our prices at any time, but the price confirmed at the time of your booking will be honoured.
• We may require full payment or a deposit to secure a booking. Any balance must be paid before the ride begins.
• If a price is displayed incorrectly due to an obvious error, we may cancel the booking and refund any amount paid, or offer the booking at the correct price.
• Promotional codes and offers are subject to their own conditions, cannot be combined unless stated, and have no cash value.

Online card payments

• We accept online payments using Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards in AED. Card payments are processed by our secure third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
• The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.
• Refunds are made only to the original method of payment.
• The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and of these Terms.
• Online payments must be made by a cardholder aged 18 or over.
• We will not trade with or provide services to individuals or entities from countries subject to OFAC or UAE sanctions.
• If you raise a chargeback for a service you received or a booking that falls outside our refund policy, we may provide evidence of your booking, signed documents and communications to your card issuer to dispute it.

04Security deposit

We may require a refundable security deposit for each jet ski before the ride, which may be held as a card pre-authorisation or paid in cash. The deposit amount will be confirmed at booking or check-in.

• The deposit is released or returned after the ride once the jet ski has been inspected and no damage, loss, fine or other charge applies.
• We may deduct from the deposit any amounts you owe under section 10. The deposit does not limit your liability; if costs exceed the deposit, you must pay the difference.
• Card pre-authorisations are released by us promptly, but your bank may take several working days to show the funds as available.

05Cancellations, changes & refunds

If you cancel or change

• You can reschedule a booking once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 24 hours before your start time, subject to availability. Later changes are treated as a cancellation.
• Cancellations and changes must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp) using your booking reference. Notice is counted from when we receive your message.
• No refund is given if a rider is refused under section 07 (for example no valid ID, being under the influence of alcohol, or not meeting age requirements), or if a ride is ended early under section 08.
• No refund is given for any unused part of a ride that you choose to end early.

If we cancel

• If we cancel for weather, sea conditions, safety, operational reasons or at the direction of the authorities, you can choose to reschedule at no extra cost or receive a full refund.
• If weather or safety conditions force us to stop a ride after it has started, we will offer a pro-rata refund or credit for the unused time, at our reasonable discretion.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made to the original method of payment within 7 working days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit your account. Bank charges and currency exchange differences are not refundable.

06Weather & sea conditions

All tours depend on weather, sea conditions, visibility and instructions from the relevant authorities. Our team has final say on whether it is safe to operate, and may delay, shorten, re-route or cancel a tour at any time. Our decision may be made on the day, including shortly before your start time. Cancellations for these reasons are handled under section 05.

07Rider requirements

Age and identification

• Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Drivers aged 16 or 17 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must be present at check-in.
• Passengers must be at least 8 years old and must ride with an adult driver aged 18 or over. Passengers under 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• Every rider must present an original, valid photo ID (passport, Emirates ID or driving licence) at check-in. Photocopies or photos on a phone may not be accepted.

Load limits

A maximum of two people may ride on each jet ski, and the combined weight must not exceed the manufacturer's limit for that craft. Our staff will decide how riders are allocated.

Fitness to ride

You must not ride, and must tell us before your ride, if you:

• have consumed alcohol, drugs or any medication that may affect your judgement, balance or reactions;
• are pregnant;
• have a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy, back or neck problems, or have recently had surgery or a serious injury;
• have any other physical or medical condition that could affect your ability to ride safely or to cope with a fall into the water.

You will be asked to sign a health declaration. If you are unsure whether you are fit to ride, please take medical advice before booking. We may refuse to allow anyone to ride if, in our reasonable opinion, they do not meet these requirements or could put themselves or others at risk. In that case no refund is given.

08Safety rules

For your safety and that of others, every rider must:

• attend the full safety briefing and sign the rider declaration and waiver before riding;
• wear the life jacket provided, correctly fastened, at all times while on the water;
• attach the engine kill-switch lanyard to your wrist or life jacket whenever the engine is running;
• follow the guide at all times, stay in formation and keep a safe distance behind the jet ski in front;
• obey speed limits and all instructions from your guide, the police and maritime authorities;
• keep clear of swimmers, divers, beaches, boats, yachts, marinas and restricted or protected zones, including the exclusion zones around landmarks and hotels;
• not perform stunts, jumps, wake jumping, sharp turns at speed or any reckless manoeuvre;
• not swap drivers or carry extra passengers without the guide's permission;
• not use a phone or camera while driving — photos may be taken only at designated stops with the engine off or idling;
• not take alcohol, glass or any prohibited items onto the jet ski.

09Assumption of risk

You understand and accept that jet skiing involves inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated, even with careful supervision and well-maintained equipment. These include, but are not limited to, falling into the water, collisions, changing weather and sea conditions, waves and wakes from other vessels, sun exposure, dehydration, marine life, and injury caused by your own actions or the actions of other riders.

By taking part you confirm that you do so voluntarily, that you are physically fit to ride, that you will follow all safety instructions, and that you accept these risks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you are responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by your own failure to follow these Terms, the safety briefing or your guide's instructions.

10Damage, loss & fines

You will inspect the jet ski with our staff before your ride. You are responsible for, and agree to pay:

• the cost of repairing or replacing a jet ski or equipment (including life jackets, lanyards, keys and mounts) that is damaged or lost during your ride as a result of your breach of these Terms, negligence, recklessness or misuse;
• reasonable loss of income while a damaged jet ski is out of service;
• towing, recovery and rescue costs where these result from your breach of the rules;
• any fines, penalties or charges issued by the police, maritime or other authorities as a result of your actions during the ride, plus a reasonable administration fee.

Damage will be assessed by us, or by an independent assessor if you request one. We will share photographs and a written estimate or invoice, and may deduct the amount from your security deposit under section 04. Normal wear and tear is not charged.

11Our liability

• We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, using trained guides and maintained equipment, and hold the insurance required by law for our operations.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, business, holiday enjoyment or opportunity, or for missed connections or other travel arrangements.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the total price you paid for that booking.
• We are not liable for injury, loss or damage caused by your own breach of these Terms, by other riders or third parties we do not control, or by events described in section 15.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or wilful misconduct.

We strongly recommend that you have personal travel and accident insurance that covers water sports and adventure activities.

12Personal belongings

You bring personal belongings (including phones, cameras, sunglasses, jewellery and keys) at your own risk. Items taken onto the water may be lost or damaged by water. Where we offer storage or waterproof pouches, this is a courtesy only and, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage to your belongings unless caused by our negligence.

13Photos, video & GPS

Our guides may take photos and video during your tour. Our jet skis are fitted with GPS tracking to monitor routes and speed and to keep riders safe, and data from these devices may be used to investigate incidents, damage and rule breaches. We will only use identifiable images of you in our marketing with your agreement. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

14Use of our website

• We try to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but tour descriptions, routes, photos and durations are for general guidance and may change. Photos are illustrative.
• All content on this website — including text, logos, designs, photos and videos — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• You must not misuse our website, including by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content or submitting false or offensive information.
• Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
• If you post a review or feedback about us, it must be honest and lawful. We may respond publicly to reviews.

15Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing our services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government or authority actions or closures, port or marina restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, fire, utility failures or major equipment failure. If a booked tour cannot go ahead for such a reason, we will offer you a new date or a refund in line with section 05.

16Complaints

If something is not right, please tell your guide or our team on the day so we can try to fix it straight away. If it cannot be resolved on the spot, please contact us in writing within 7 days of your tour with your booking reference and details of the issue. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to respond in full within 14 days.

17Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your booking, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting legal proceedings, both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute amicably.

18General

• Changes: we may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
• Severability: if any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full force.
• No waiver: if we do not enforce a right immediately, we may still enforce it later.
• Transfer: you may not transfer your booking to another person without our agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another business as part of a sale or restructure.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, our Privacy Policy, your booking confirmation and the documents you sign on the day form the whole agreement between us about your booking.
• Language: these Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
